Dr Udy Okon (PhD) is a seasoned development practitioner with over 18 years’ experience. She has a PhD in ICT for Development from the University of London and an MSc from London School of Economics. As the current Executive/Country Director at Youth Alive Foundation, her innovative approach has drawn funding from top donors like DFID, Ford Foundation, USAID, to mention a few. Her incredible leadership is impacting thousands of Nigerian youths and the civic space in Nigeria.

Kingsley Atang is a youth development practitioner with over 10 years of accumulated experience in the field of youth development, governance and advocacy. He was the Programs Lead for Uyo Office before moving to his current position. His strategic areas of specialization are public relations, leadership and stakeholder engagement, policy development with special focus on youth empowerment and community mobilization

Ifeoma is a seasoned programme manager with over 15 years of experience in fast-paced development sector. She provides strategic program oversight for YAF with with strong organizational and leadership skills to achieve organizational goals with exceptional results. Areas of expertise include but not limited to programme management, mentorship, problem solving with time and budget management. She previously worked as Capacity Building and Partnership Advisor for the USAID SACE project and Plateau State Coordinator, Water Aid Nigeria.

Victor has more than 10 years’ experience in the Humanitarian and development Sector as a certified Social Worker, Monitoring and Evaluation specialist and a Child Protection practitioner with competency in public health and governance programs, he has additional experience in TB/HIV Care and Support Program, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Household Economic Strengthening, Education and Gender. He had worked on several donor funded projects such as USAID funded International Foundation for Education and Self-Help (IFESH), Save the Children, PEPFER Funded Project (STEER).

Monitoring and Evaluation Adviser - YAF

Samson over 6 years of work experience in project design and implementation, and MEAL systems. Samson has implemented projects funded by USAID, DFID, Accenture, PZ Cussons, OSIWA, and INGOs in the areas of conflict and peace building, food security and livelihoods (FSL), disability inclusive development, education, health, social norms and anti-corruption, social accountability, social inclusion and gender mainstreaming, Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC). He has certifications in Harvard University, Problem Driven Iterative Adaption (PDIA) and Creating Public Value (CPV), and Project Management. He is currently a PhD fellow (Policy and Development Studies) in Ahmadu

Justina is a passionate relationship manager with over six (6) years’ experience in building and maintaining relationships with relevant stakeholders including CSOs, Media and Government partners. Prior to joining YAF, Justina worked in the banking sector in Nigeria where she successfully managed several high-level relationships and partnerships. She is a certified customer service/telemarketing professional (CCS/TP) from the Telemarketing Diploma, Houston-Texas, USA.

Chamberlain Etukudoh is a development engineer with over 6 years’ experience working with various projects. He has served in Youth Alive Foundation Nigeria as the Advocacy Coordinator and Programs Lead in Akwa Ibom and Lagos states respectively. He is a youth advocate passionate about innovation, SDGs, and community development. He is a member of the International Association of Community Development (IACD) and a board advisor to Inspired Youth Network Nigeria.

Mercy serves as the Finance and Administrative Officer at the YAF, Lagos office. She ensures compliance during projects’ implementation process and effective internal controls. She has gained experience in working with various international development agencies and has also undergone trainings on project management and financial management. Mercy holds an accounting degree from National Open University.

Onyeka Ajah has five years cognate working experience in youth development through advocacy, capacity building and sensitization. She is an On-Air-Personality (OAP) hosting radio program on social issues. She uses poetry and creative writing skills to increase awareness on prevalent national issues for positive change. She has worked on projects isuch as USAID SACE project, IFES and PIND-NDYEP project and the DFID ACORN project.

Isang has an undiluted passion for professional excellence in line with global best practices. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

Chikodi Onyeri (aka Uncle Chico) is a theatre arts graduate, a creative, versatile and innovative youth empowerment advocate working for over 15 years to build leadership capacity in youths. He is a pioneer staff in YAF who started as a volunteer. He has worked in multiple capacities and currently leads our youth outreach and volunteer program doing what he loves best. Chikodi is a Cartoonist, Choreographer, MC, and Stage Director who is a key player in all our events and creative content development for youths. He creates the animation for the MadACT Comic for the Integrity Clubs managed by YAF and works to establish Integrity Clubs in Secondary Schools.
