YAF Awarded DFID GRANT to support Anti-Corruption in Nigeria.

YAF has been awarded a grant by DFID Nigeria for a five year grant on the DFID NIGERIA’S ANTI-CORRUPTION IN NIGERIA (ACORN) PROGRAMME. DFID Nigeria’s new multi-year Anti-Corruption in Nigeria (ACORN) programme aims to provide support over five years (2017-2022) to Nigerian authorities and civil society to tackle corruption by reducing public tolerance and ensuring those who are corrupt are caught and punished.

The grant will support YAF to strengthen youth participation in the fight against corruption.  The project will engage youths to become active advocates in the fight against corruption by mobilizing youth groups nationally through capacity building, social marketing, behavior change communication and civic engagement activities.
