
We the People organized a Strategy Meeting which brought key partners of the Y-PAC Project in Rivers State together to strategize and synergize on new and better ways of achieving the project goals. In attendance were Mr. Alex Chukwura, State Commissioner, ICPC and other staff of the commission; Mr. Ayo Tamuno, Acting Chairman of National Orientation Agency (NOA) and some staff of the agency in Rivers State; Mrs. Akarah, a representative of the NYSC in the State; and Mr. Prince Ekpere, Programme Officer of Social Action.
The meeting was held to create new strategies and fine-tune action plans for the Y-PAC project in the State and to synergize activities for greater impact. Including government agencies in the anti-corruption fight is a deliberate approach in strengthening government systems and paving a clear path for sustainability on the Y-PAC project.
The Y-PAC project has progressively strengthened youths through behavioral change communication, support on youth-focused organizations and government structures with the aim of driving impact in 5 years. Youths and citizens alike can boast of a country where everyone contributes to personal, community and nationwide development that matches anti-corruption fight with integrity and accountability.
