CAJA LECTURES AT SOSCEAN WEEK

The Centre for Awareness on Justice and Accountability (CAJA) made a presentation on the role of Civil Society organizations in Nation Building during a lecture organized by the Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education in celebration of the SOSCEAN WEEK day on the 30th of October, 2018.

The participants in attendance were students of the tertiary institution and CAJA used this platform as an avenue to inform them of the need to be part of the fight against corruption. CAJA also presented the project MACTI (Movement against Corruption in Tertiary Institutions) to the school management as it falls under the MadACT movement. The MadACT which stands for Make a Difference against Corruption is an ongoing social campaign insistent on tackling the calamity and the quagmire of corruption which we are currently engulfed. Youths are the primary target of the movement since this can facilitate the strengthening of their Participation Against Corruption nationwide.

The school management at Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education affirmed their support for the Movement Against Corruption in Tertiary Institutions (MACTI) movement and pledged to be a part of the campaign.
